Red-legged Partridge
RED-LEGGED PARTRIDGE (Alectoris rufa): Morphologically, the red-legged partridge is characterized by a stocky body, short neck and relatively small head.
The peak is short, thick and consistent, typical of grain eaters, the upper jaw is curved downward and slightly longer than the lower one, which is straight. The wings and tail are rounded and short. They are relatively heavy birds for their size. Red-legged partridges are sedentary.
Its hunting season is the general small game season.
