Red Deer

RED DEER (Cervus elaphus). The populations of red deer in Castile and Leon are distributed in three main zones: Sistema Ibérico, Coordillera Cantábrica and Montes Galaico - Leoneses.

The hunting season runs from mid-September to mid-February. The trophy consists on the bony antlers attached to the skull.

For the trophy homologation, antlers must be provided attached to the skull, unassembled of the table and clean of all foreign matter.
